Freedom of Teach Workshop

I recently took a Creature and Character Anatomy workshop with Anatomy Tools. The class was taught by Andrew Cawrse and Damon Bard. I created some thumbnails of a character I have had on my mind and Andrew and Damon more then helped me bring my character to life. The workshop was incredibly helpful and I highly recommend any of the workshops they teach. It will bring your anatomy to an entirely new level. Thanks for looking!

Tron Statue

Hey everyone,

Here is a project I just recently wrapped up. This is a statue based on the original Tron film for Electric Tiki's Classic Heroes Collection. This was sculpted by Rubén Procopio and myself. It's been a honor and pleasure to work and collaborate with him. He is an incredibly talented and giving artist, make sure and check out his work. The concept design was done by Rubén and the base design by Tracy Lee, owner/operator of Electric Tiki.We will post images of the final print and paint soon. Thanks as always for looking and we hope you enjoy it!

Thanks,
Bryan

Update and Classes

I hope everyone had a great holiday and is ready for a great New Year. I wanted to share a sculpt I have been working on between projects. It's a tribute to one of my favorite monsters created by the master Ray Harryhausen. I put my own spin on the Cyclops but wanted to still capture that same classic feeling. I'm currently working on a render and will post it soon, until then I hope this inspires you to watch some classic monster and adventure films.

Also,a new quarter is also starting up as well. Here is some info on the classes I will be teaching.

Starting January 23 I will be teaching an Intro to Z-Brush at Studio Arts.

I will also be teaching a Z-Brush Character and Creature design class at The Concept Design Academy starting February 6.

If you have questions about the classes, feel free to e-mail me at sculptor@bryanwynia.com. Thanks as always and best of luck in the New Year!

Witch development

Here are some paint overs I'm working on for a new digital maquette. This Witch started off as a demonstration from my workshop at The Concept Design Academy. I wanted to continue to develop her character so these are some ideas for different clothing, hair, and jewelry options. I'm also currently working on a dynamic pose and base designs.

Here is the sculpt in it's base pose. Still early, but enough to start some paint overs. Comments are always welcome!
